Hambledon Premiere Cuvee English Sparkling Wine, 75 cl Sale

Description
There is no doubt that if you serve this without telling guests they will swear it is Champagne. We were amazed at the quality of this English Sparkling Wine when tasted at the vineyards in Hampshire. Delicate with gentle bubbles we would compare this to many a Grand Marque Champagne. Grapes are selected from either 2013 or as far back as 2010. Exceptional.

Product Description
England’s oldest commercial vineyard. Ian Kellett acquired Hambledon in 1999 with a view to restoring Hambledon to its former glory and research convinced him that the site was perfectly suited to the production of sparkling wines. The Newhaven chalk on which the vines grow was formed on the seabed of the Paris basin some 65 million years ago and is found in the best Chardonnay areas of the Côtes des Blancs in Champagne.
Tasting Notes
Delicate and yet complex. Incredibly well structure with a superb creamy notes alongside just enough acidity.
